Aigerim Sabralieva as the director of the Public Foundation "Football for All" and a member of the Executive Committee of the Kyrgyz Football Union, actively participated in the 2021 JICA training "Promotion of Social Participation of People with Disabilities through Sports".

Her dedication continued as she organized "Special Football Camp”, engaging 56 children from all regions of Kyrgyzstan. Photos and videos captured during the implementation of this project were compiled for a documentary film "Thank you, coach!" highlighting children with disabilities in sports. Notably, this documentary film took part in the Milan Film Festival’s "Sports" category and received many positive reviews.

Aigerim emphasizes that the primary challenge for people with disabilities remains the underdeveloped infrastructure hindering successful social participation. Despite this, she highlights the unwavering spirit of these people with disabilities, which is asserting their independence and proactive actions by their own initiative. They emerge as leaders in their communities and advocate for their rights.

One of the main challenges for the social participation of people with disabilities in sports, especially in regions, is the lack of specialists. So, Aigerim initiated training sessions for parents in the regions, providing opportunities to foster their children’s social connections through sports.

December 3 is the Day of People with Disabilities, and December 10 is Human Rights Day!

The Declaration of Universal Human Rights has become the basis for of human rights protection. That today also focuses on vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities, indigenous peoples and migrants. We need to stand up for our rights and the rights of others!
