On January 19, 2025, the President of JICA Dr. Tanaka Akihiko commenced an official visit to Uzbekistan.

The program includes high-level meetings in Tashkent, signing of important agreements, visits to project sites implemented under JICA initiatives, and a trip to Samarkand.
