The earthquake has caused huge damages not only in Turkey but also in northwestern Syria. In the difficult situation, it is reported that many people are left out of assistance.

JICA provided a total of 18 tons of relief supplies, such as tents and blankets.

On Feb. 15 (local time), the supplies were handed over to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) in Damascus, the capital of Syria, and will be delivered to the suffered people through SARC.
