On December 14 and 15, 2022, the Muras Friendly Futsal Tournament was held and 16 teams of the 40+ age participated.

The Chief Representative of JICA in the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Kawamoto Hiroyuki, took part in the tournament as part of the team of representatives of the diplomatic corps "Elchiler".

The Elchiler team advanced to the quarterfinals and played with the President's Team. The game was bright and intense.

“This is my first experience of participating in such a sporting event. I am grateful for the opportunity to play futsal together with colleagues from other international organizations and with the participation of President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The development of physical culture and sports play an important role in the development of society,” said Chief Representative Mr. Kawamoto.

President Zhaparov S.N., during the closing ceremony speech, mentioned that the next tournament will be held in May 2023.
