On January 9, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Almasadam Satkaliyev participated in an online meeting with Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Ken Saito.

During the meeting ministers discussed the perspectives of green energy, decarbonization, renewable energy sources development between two countries.

As the result of the meeting, Memorandum of Cooperation focused on energy transition between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan was signed.
